Global Bowls Solutions is a passionate initiative, owned and operated by Danny Keating & Family and is operated from the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. Having been involved in our sport for over 30 years Danny has always been considered a visionary, keeping our game on the front page and under the eye of anyone who would listen.
Rink sponsorship was initiated by Danny at his first club, Yallourn North some 36 years ago when they were just getting the club off the ground.
He raised over $2000 per year with $100 per rink x 16 rinks plus a sponsorship for a Triples day that continues to this day.

In the eighties Danny was the creator of a $10k pairs event that was considered the benchmark of Tournaments at that time. Since then he has held positions of Chairman at his bowls club and more recently was General Manager of Taylor Bowls Australia for the last three years. This role saw him travel Australia wide giving the perfect overview of our sport from a commercial, competitive and social point of view.
One thing that is very clear and that is the lack of positive marketing of our sport and the need to address this as a matter of urgency.

GBS has a number of proposals to address these issues and will be offering a service to World, National, Statewide and Regional Bodies to get this done. We are offering a complete range of all things bowls, products and professional services to assist us to achieve productive and positive outcomes. These include confidential advice on amalgamations, club structure and membership growth.
We love our game and can’t wait to see it back growing with happy and satisfied communities supporting the Bowls Club, the friendliest place in town.

The Passion That Drives Us
Global Bowls Solutions is a family company dedicated to the growth and world expansion of the sport of Lawn Bowls. Our great game has been in decline for a number of years and the time has come to tell the world just how great it is for every age demographic, climate and culture worldwide. In some countries we have pockets of success but in the main participation numbers have been in decline for a number of years. We have reached a peak in design, aesthetics and performance of products and in saying that we need to market the game, it’s qualities and undeniable satisfaction levels for those lucky enough to play.
Our job is to introduce it to the masses worldwide with a palatable presentation of enjoyment, competitive structure and total family involvement. We must educate the clubs, players and administrators so that the bowls club becomes and remains the centre of friendliness and companionship in every town and city you may visit, worldwide. We have an obligation to those who follow us to develop a legacy of prosperity and enjoyment and make sure our sport continues to be the wonderful pastime we know it is.

MARKETING
How We Help
The game of Lawn Bowls is ever changing with different formats, different surfaces and different time demands. We have junior programs, elite programs, and many different forms of competition as well as the traditional pennant seasons.
Some bodies market the game as an elite sport with elite competitions that in our opinion more than often miss the mark. We believe that the Club players and their respective Clubs need the marketing support to ensure everyone in town knows what we do, how much fun it is and how easy it is to participate and enjoy the game. Our aim is to generate this support by designing fully costed campaigns based around participation of the whole community.
We know that 80% of all bowlers live and play outside the city parameters and due to locality, population shifts and general lack of awareness these areas seem to be very much disadvantaged. The major issue is lack of marketing and promotion of our game targeting the correct age demographic and and making it more attractive as the great pastime we know it is. We know it will take a huge effort and we are keen to work in harmony with all the stakeholders to get the job done.
We need a team effort going forward and unity is the key.
AMALGAMATIONS
Realising Your Potential
We are faced with the prospect of Club closures every other week and this presents a truly negative view to the general public. We have far too many clubs and amalgamations in some selected areas becomes the only option for survival. If handled professionally with sound structure and advice this can become a positive with an outcome of enhancement of services, growing memberships and a win win situation for all concerned.
GBS can offer a professional and non political service that will create a plan going forward and in doing so help not only retain but expand the facility to allow the expected growth and financial surety.
We have access to the best people to deal with any scenarios that may present itself.
We must always remember that sometimes we have to install change to survive and this will develop into a positive outcome if dealt with in a professional fashion.
MEMBERSHIP RETENTION AND EXPANSION
Building New Foundations For Your Club
The greatest challenge our great game faces is survival due to membership decline and lack of participation. We believe we have the formula for retaining and ultimately increasing membership with simple programs that are easy to implement and administer. We also see the need to attract people for committees, and regional involvement due to the increasing age of our current people. We must develop a succession plan to ensure the hard work continues for many years to come. GBS can help in all these areas and will work with you to get the program in place and operating.

Professional Bowls Coaching & Guidance
At GBS we have access to a range of specialist coaches with experience at all levels of the game. The game is certainly enjoyed with the right guidance and whilst the hardworking club coaches do a great job, the specialist coaches we offer can add a great edge to your game with attention to small detail, coaching arm instruction, game strategy and basic techniques.
We offer trade days together with instruction by appointment anywhere in Australia and look forward to speaking with your club, association or district.
